The 1840s were tough times and during the following twenty years many people left Chrishall to make the journey to Australia. Amazingly we only know of one person who was sadly lost on route and many of the families who took this trip ended up leading successful lives on the other side of the world. Exodus is a series of articles about these families and their stories.
