Unfortunately the date and any names are unknown – the board that the little girl is holding simply says “Chrishall Group 2”.

The young man in the back second from the left I believe is my Grandad Wilfred Miller. If this photograph is around 1910 he would have been 8 or 9 years old when this was taken. I have some photographs of him when he was a few years older so I’m fairly sure it is him. Another clue – my Nan told me that when he was a boy he had a fine head of curly hair. I asked him when I was little “Where has your hair gone Grandad?” “It blew away in the wind” he replied.
His younger brother Ernie Miller is in the school play photograph 1915.
Ah fantastic to start to get some names for this photo – thank you Cherry. And I love your Grandad’s comment – Grandad’s just have the best explanation for things don’t they!
