Martinholme The Post Office
As well as being the residence of Lettice Martin, Martinholme was also the village Post Office and Bakery from the early 1900's. The door on the left in this photograph was later removed and a large extension to the building was made on the right.

If this photo is from 1911 then, according to the census, it seems that the people in the picture maybe Joseph and Rebecca Flack, both aged 69. Joseph was formerly a cowman and they had been married 43 years and had 12 children, 8 of whom were still living at the time...
