Arthur & Nora Cane with son John in 1955 outside their home (now Barleymans). Arthur is also on his sister's wedding photo of 1922 and on photos of Drage & Kent's steam ploughing engine.
These two photographs were taken in 1959 from Barleymans - (top) looking across to Martenholme Pond and (bottom) looking towards Wire farm (that's a Premier double decker in the distance!)
