New Chrishall History Facebook page so we can continue to share the collection even when the Archive is closed.
As I write this we are in the midst of a pandemic – Corvid-19 has changed our lives and is a historic event in itself.
One of the impacts of the virus is that public gatherings have been prohibited and public places closed. At the moment these restrictions are beginning to ease a little but we certainly will not be able to open the Archive or hold any events for some time to come.
So, as with so many other groups and organisations, we are moving more online in an effort to share our collection with you and one of the ways we are doing this is to have created a Chrishall History Facebook page.
We are starting with a Chrishall alphabet and it would be lovely if you would like to come over and join in. You can comment on the posts but if you want to put up a new post / photo / video it will be checked before being published. This is because this is a page and not a group and therefore anyone can post on the page.
If you ‘like’ or ‘follow’ the page then it will show up in your Facebook timeline when there are new entries.
So time to dig out some old pictures, or ask any questions about Chrishall history and connections. Hope to see you there!
