This postcard of Chrishall has recently come to light and shows how much the trees and hedges have now grown up to obscure the view. This card is undated and was never used so it is difficult to say when the photograph was taken but it is of a similar style to other pictures we have which were taken around the 1920s.

For comparison I have tried taking a picture in what I think would be the same position on the road, judging by the bends in the road. But it was incredibly difficult as it is surprising how much the view is now obscured. What do you think? Is this taken from the same place?
