The Green at Chrishall looking somewhat different to what it does today. This postcard is undated but possibly comes from the 1920s? It is obviously after the War Memorial was placed on the Green but I’m not sure when those large telegraph poles appeared in the village. It is interesting to note the lack of houses after the school on the right hand side of the picture. Also of course the style into the field where the bungalow now stands.
